Location Notes: the location is accessible by wheelchair. The venue itself does not have specific parking, though there is parking on nearby streets. It may be worth taking an uber or taxi. The venue is located inside of a park.

Vibe notes: this will be a relaxed and laid back affair. It will be silly, wholesome, very queer and trans friendly. It will also be friendly to differing energy levels – while we don’t have a nap room to offer, we are very happy for folks to rest as needed, and take time outs as they see fit. The venue is nestled in a lovely park adjacent to some great streets that make for great quiet wandering.

We have a bit of a plan! Oooooo…. ahhh…..

A general sketch of the evening:

5pm – we should be ready to bring folks in and relax a bit with you all we’ll have a few nibbles and few bevvies (think light cocktail evening vibes), but we can’t promise to fill your bellies.

the hall is conveniently located right next door to Garage Project cellar door where you can pick up beersies to go until 8pm, and a few doors down from Aro Valley Mini Mart, which will sell wine until about 8:30 or 9pm. If you get struck but a wee bit of hunger Aro Valley and Chips is also very close! And you’re welcome to order in anything you like

6:30pm – some speeches

7ishpm – we reckon we’ll get some music and perhaps some gentle wholesome tomfoolery going

9:30 or 10ish – we’ll wrap up

After sending folks away Catherine and Rebecca will give the hall a quick tidy, and our ambition is to make it to meet a kind few folks afterwards at something like Rogue and Vagabond (though we are notorious for going to bed early)
